Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete the weekly schedule for cleaning staff
• Manage daily schedules, including lunches and breaks
• Interview and train new staff
• Keep track of inventory needs
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Maintain quality standards
• Complies with all EHS and quality policies and procedures
• Must be able to work 8-10 hour shifts on your feet
• This position requires great communication and extreme attention to detail
• Required to work well in a team/group environment in solving issues that arise
• Take the initiative to strive for continuous knowledge and skills building by listening to others' ideas or instruction given, asking the right questions, participating in meetings, providing feedback as needed
• Must show respect to others, and promote/maintain a harassment free environment, work ethically and with integrity to support the organization's goals and values
• Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment, and react well under pressure
• Must be able and willing to pick up shifts that become vacant due to call offs in the event a floater is not available for coverage

Qualifications:

• Janitorial experience in a clean room environment preferred
• Prior management experience preferred
• Janitorial or housekeeping experience
• Human resources or management experience is a plus
• Organizational and leadership skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Candidate must consent to a criminal background check and E-Verify verification
• Ability to follow verbal directions
• Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills
• Pays attention to detail when cleaning
• Relevant experience; or knowledge, skills, and mental ability
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
• General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning
• Able to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
