Job description
A janitor is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a designated area, including any number of buildings and the surrounding area. A janitor should be in moderate physical health and able to stay on his feet for hours each day, as well as climb, bend and move heavy equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Basic cleaning: sweeping, mopping or vacuuming floors, dusting, polishing furniture and cleaning glass.
- They may also be required to clean laboratory equipment.
- Also responsible for keeping bathrooms clean and well stocked, as well as informing a supervisor when more supplies are needed.
- May be required to operate heavy-duty equipment like carpet shampooers, steam cleaners and power tools.
The IDEAL candidate must have:
- Candidate must be a team player and also be a self-starter. Previous experience a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: Up to $17.00 per hour
