At Compass the IT Systems Administrator position is the key to our organization. They are the face that our clients see when onsite service is required. Their role starts by providing exceptional customer service, great communications, and providing support to address client issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide users with technical support for computer/network/software issues.
- Consult customers and visit dental offices to determine present and future user needs.
- Work closely with vendors to support various third-party software.
- Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
- Participate in network technology upgrade or expansion projects.
Technical Skills/Proficiencies:
- PC/Server Hardware, Peripherals and Parts, including Printer/Scanner Setup and troubleshooting.
- Windows Operating Systems (Windows 8, 10, 11, Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022) troubleshooting
- Supporting DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
- General software installation and troubleshooting, Microsoft Office Software, General Office Productivity software.
- Remote management software, antivirus, monitoring
- Backup configuration and restore procedures.
- LAN/WAN network troubleshooting.
- Cabling (creating, punching, tracing, new runs) various mounting solutions, audio/visual devices, network rack install.

- Confident and professional demeanor
- Able to deal with occasionally stressful, fast paced situations.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Proper grammar, and English when communicating with clients and coworkers.
- Experience working at a Managed Service Provider or IT Company is a Plus
- Experience with ConnectWise is a Plus
- Experience with Ubiquiti, and SonicWALL is a Plus
Additional Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license/insurance.
- Some after-hours support in an on-call rotation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
