Summary

AP Professionals has partnered with a bank in search of an IT Service Desk Specialist to cover a 6 month leave. Be a part of a collaborative IT team to respond to ticket requests in an timely manner. Supporting 700 employees over 30 branches and escalating requests as needed. 1-3 years of support experience is desired. Experience with Windows operating systems is a must.

This is a full time, contract opportunity

This is a hybrid work set up. Must be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform end users support via phone and email in a timely manner
• Escalate requests as needed
• Work hands on to install and upgrade software and hardware, backup files, and configure systems and applications
• Monitor fixes to ensure the issue is resolved
• Use of research skills to solve new problems
• Engage in the creation of help sheets for end users
• Actively communicate with department members for efficient flow of information
• Follow internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness.
• Maintain appropriate records

Requirement

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related experience/training
• 1-3 years of experience is preferred
• Experience managing a ticketing system
• Experience with Windows Operating systems
• Experience with Active Directory is preferred
• Ability to pass a background and credit check
• Excellent problem solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
