POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide end user training, support and PC network maintenance including both hardware and software for Power Transformer Division.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
· Assist and support local and remote users to resolve both hardware- and software-related computer problems.
· Document all user problems in company help desk software.
· Work with other members of IT to resolve problems in a timely manner.
· Assist with product upgrades and new implementations.
· Provide user training.
· Monitor and coordinate all aspects related to the telephone system, including the coordination of upgrades, changes, and day-to-day user assistance.
· Further the goals and positive, professional image of the IT Department by conducting business with other HICO departments, vendors, and customers in a timely and cooperative manner.
· Analyzes requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing business systems.
· Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures and identify problems.
· Support and assist the Division Controller as needed.
· Support and make recommendations to improve Company policies and procedures.
· Know HICO’s Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and their impact in the workplace.

THE NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
· Monitor and coordinate all aspects related to the digital multi-function copy machines.
· Manager upgrade projects as assigned.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
· Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field, plus a minimum of five (5) years related work experience, or equivalent education and experience. Experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Must have experience supporting laptops, desktops, and workstation computers.
· Developed knowledge of PC repair, configuration, networking, Windows NT, MS Office and other current Company operating system platforms and assorted applications.
· Developed knowledge of Company’s current OS.
· Working knowledge of firewall application.
· Prefer A+ certification or MCIPT certification.
· Developed written and verbal communication skills.
· Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

· Ability to use office equipment, such as: PC, photocopier, fax machine, etc.
· Ability to analyze processes and provide innovative solutions to enhance operations.
· Possess excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills in order to achieve collaborative results.
