HireVergence is seeking a self-motivated, highly driven technical IT recruiter. This role will join a tenured recruiting team specializing in information security and IT. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating a pipeline of highly specialized talent and you will source, screen, and hire qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide recruitment support by owning and managing the recruiting cycle from end to end.
• Build relationships with qualified candidates to effectively fill resource needs and put talent to work.
• Facilitate screening and interview processes and follow-up activities; support the onboarding process.
• Proactively recruit and pipeline passive security and IT talent.
• Manage consultants while on assignment; facilitate redeployment of consultants as assignments approach completion.
• Utilize a variety of successful recruiting tools and one of the top ATS in the industry to deliver results effectively and efficiently.
• Elevate the candidate experience by providing the highest level of communication and coaching throughout the recruiting cycle.
• Collaborate with account managers and hiring managers; provide expertise and guidance to help shape the hiring process, including insights on skillsets, job descriptions, compensation packages, market competitiveness, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
• Background in information security, cybersecurity, or compliance OR experience recruiting for these skillsets preferred; training available for qualified applicants without this knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with applicant tracking systems and passive candidate sourcing
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter preferred
• Ability to appropriately screen candidates and strong experience leading interviews
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills
• Ability to self-motivate, think innovatively, and manage to a clear set of goals
• Ability to research and ask clarifying questions about products or skillsets for which you are unfamiliar
• Knowledge of IT and information security space, including products and vendors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Experience engaging candidates through social media, employee referrals, networking, job boards, and new, innovative ways to connect
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new internal systems quickly

Employment type: Full-time
Location: Remote; headquarters in Tampa, FL (local candidates highly sought but not required)
Compensation: Base salary + commission

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
