Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 - 5:00 (some flexibility available) (May consider a remote assignment for the right candidate)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In conjunction and cooperation with other Network Engineers the essential duties of this position include the following. Employees in this position perform some or all of the following tasks.
- Proficiently function in the Microsoft Azure environment.
- Supports a modern SD WAN infrastructure, specifically CATO Networks.
- Responsible for over 100 remote sites using various WAN technologies back to headquarters.
- Responsible for network security and disaster recovery plans throughout the entire environment.
- Assist in researching security enhancements and make recommendations to management as well as staying up-to-date on information technology trends in security standards.
- Network infrastructure support - routing, switching, VPN, wireless configuration, and support.
- Maintaining the current VoIP and Faxing environment and guiding new solutions.
- Designing, configuring, and deploying all new business acquisitions or site startups.
- Monitoring and responding to incidents at sites which may include travel for site startups and repairs as necessary. (~500-mile radius)
- Embodies a commitment to self-driven personal improvement through continuous learning.
- Maintains a positive attitude to drive an encouraging culture in the company.
- Works in an on-call rotation as assigned.
- Attends work regularly and is punctual.
- Maintains appropriate certifications and training hours as required.
- Adheres to all company policies and is a role model of professionalism within the company.
- Perform other duties as the needs of the company evolve and change.
- Associates degree in Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education.
- Experience with SASE architecture (CATO, Juniper)
- Minimum 3+ years of network administration in a business environment.
- Cisco Certification; CCNP strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, VPNs, network monitoring and SNMP principles.
- Strong documentation skills for the development and maintenance of network design documentation.
- Experience in the planning and implementation of improvements, modifications, or replacement of network infrastructure components.
- Experience providing advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex network problems.
- Background in data center network design is strongly preferred.
- A solid understanding of LAN/WAN and SD-WAN technologies.
- In-depth knowledge in managing Network Monitoring Solutions or Syslog.
- Ability to troubleshoot packet-level issues using network protocol analyzers.
- Strong understanding and experience in wireless networking.
- Experience with VoIP systems – Implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting. (ShoreTel, Mitel, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)
- Understanding of SIEM, AV, and IDS/IPS concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain current in-house faxing solutions.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, virtual hosts, virtual machines, and VMWare or Citrix administration.
- Experience investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
