PERI is currently looking for a IT Hub Technician to join our PERI Family! The IT Hub Technician will support the PERI technical infrastructure and systems across the US. The role of the IT Hub Technician is to be the reference point for all IT related queries at the user level, to respond to user needs in a timely manner, ensure the optimal running of all systems. The IT Hub Technician will perform routine maintenance and audits on hardware and software in addition to performing troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques to repair file servers, hardware and software.

What you’ll do in a typical day:
- Serve as the point of contact for PERI employees seeking technical assistance and perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions
- Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability and analyze and audit existing systems to identify areas for improvement
- Maintain network and system security
- Support day to day trouble tickets regarding hardware and software
- Perform network, server, and application updates as required and standard preventative maintenance and simple repairs as necessary
- Ensure electrical safety standards are met
- Repair and replace damaged hardware
- Perform tests and evaluations of new software and hardware
- Escalate unresolved issues to the next level within IT or management
- Provide feedback or suggestions from customers to the IT team members
- Identify and recommend improvements for system performance or procedures
- Maintain/create network servers such as file servers
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Windows OS 7/10, Active Directory and Office 2016, 365
- Solid comprehension of networking, hardware, and application systems
- Extensive knowledge of web browsers, basic network, server connectivity, and file share
- Experience with making a DHCP reservation and setting up printers on company’s server including printer troubleshooting
- Experience with Remedy, Helpline, Ivanti, or other ticketing systems is a plus
- Basic knowledge of routers, switches, ISP connections, and hybrid cloud solutions
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time, tasks, and resources
- Ability to handle urgent situations in calm professional manner
