As Stemilt’s IT Business Analyst – Finance you are charged with using excellent customer service skills and technical knowledge to be a liaison between the business area and the technical team. The IT Business Analyst – Finance recognizes that technology is a key component of the business. Stemilt is utilizing SAP as our ERP, your duty is to bridge any knowledge gap between technology and business process leaders with an emphasis on how the ERP can solve problems while providing transparency and data to the entire enterprise. The IT Business Analyst – Finance should be utilizing their technical knowledge to assist key business process owners with solving business problems and meeting objectives. The IT Business Analyst – Finance is a member of the Information Technology team but is seamlessly integrated in to the Finance. Effectively you are responsible for having a deep understanding of the challenges facing the Finance team within Stemilt as well as across the industry. With this understanding you are empowered to seek solutions to business problems that meet the business needs and follow technical governance of Stemilt.

The Finance team is a pivotal part of Stemilt’s Landscape. As the IT Business Analyst – Finance, you will be responsible for being a liaison between the Stemilt Technical Team and Stemilt’s Finance team. This team is responsible for the company’s financial functions. Some examples include: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controllership, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury and Grower Accounting.

Additional Responsibilities:

• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications, including but not limited to: SAP S/4 HANA, Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Office 365
• Participating in business lead discussions with the Finance team.
• Participating in technical discussions with the technical team.
• Identifying areas of improvement in the Finance and working towards solutions that give benefit to the business while upholding Technical Standards and Best Practices
• Be well versed in basic issues outside of your specific business area, have an overall view of how your business area interacts with the other business areas at Stemilt
• Be an advocate for the Finance team and the Technical Team.
• Work with other Technical Analysts to have a deep understanding of Cross-Business Area interactions.
• Upholding technical standards, while delivering required functionality to the business
• Fixing problems as they arise due to changes in business processes or software changes (patches, upgrades, etc…)
• Writing Technical and User documentation
• Identifying / Documenting and Reviewing Requirements for project work as it is Identified
• Assist the Development Team with Test, Design & Deployment of new Projects
• Communicating Project Status, Milestones, and updates with key stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Creating and maintaining Project Artifacts throughout the Project Process
• Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
• A basic understanding of computing
• The ability to perform basic computer troubleshooting
• The ability to perform basic network connectivity troubleshooting
• The ability to interpret and develop technical documentation for training and end user procedures

What you bring to our World Famous! Table:

Experience / Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, information technology, computer engineering, or related field
• 3 or more years experience in business analysis
  • Focus on Finance preferred
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is preferred
• Tree Fruit or Agricultural Industry experience is a bonus

Qualifications:

• A good understanding of Finance Concepts: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc…
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to pay attention to detail
• Ability to communicate professionally, calmly, and pleasantly
