Job description

TASKS AND DUTIES OF JOB:
o Perform all tasks with minimal/no supervision or direction from Supervisor.
o Design, install, service and maintain both overhead and underground distribution systems.
o Install, service and maintain electrical substations
o Install wiring systems into factories, businesses, and homes.
o Upgrade existing wiring.
o Follow State and local building codes during installation and inspection.
o Repair electrical equipment.
o Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams. Be able to diagram Ladder.
o Determine where wires and components will be situated.
o Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, outlets, and transformers.
o Pick up supplies from vendors.
o Instruct Assistants in proper procedures and safe work practices.
o Work overtime as needed to meet production schedules.
o Maintain appropriate hour and production records as instructed by the Supervisor.
o Clean the shop area as needed, maintaining the workplace in an organized and orderly manner.
o Perform all other Tasks and Duties as may be assigned by Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

• Maxwell, IA 50161: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Industrial electrician: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• State of Iowa Electrical License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
