Embark Behavioral Health is looking for people who are committed to our mission of reducing adolescent anxiety, depression and suicide to staff a Virtual IOP to serve clients in Mountain/ Central and Western regions. Embark operates facilities across the US that support adolescents, young adults and their families by offering a full continuum of care from Long Term Residential and Wilderness Therapy environments to our IOP/PHP clinics to virtual outpatient care. Our Virtual IOP clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance.
This position is critical to the overall group experience for our families in crisis. You must be available during our IOP hours from 3-7 pm MST/4-8 pm CST Monday through Thursday. This is a contracted position, and you must be available during group hours as well as one additional meeting during the week.
As the IOP Coordinator, you can expect the following responsibilities:
- Manage alerts in the EHR
- Facilitate entry during treatment session and track attendance/engagement during group
- Participate in group when needed to support group therapist
- Effectively communicate absence, lack of engagement, technological difficulties with the IOP Team and families
- Update attendance sheet nightly and ensure notes are uploaded to EHR within 24 hours
- Ensure that group follows the curriculum and best practices
- Ensure treatment documentation meets agency and professional standards
- Participate in team meetings
What do you bring to this position?
- A Master's degree in mental health or related field. Licensed therapist preferred, not required
- A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers
- High attention to detail
- Excellent note taking abilities
- Technology savvy, with experience with video technology and telehealth platforms
- A passion for working with adolescents and young adults
- Experience using cloud-based communication software
- Well versed in modalities such as DBT, TF-CBT and SMART Recovery
- Ability to pass a state background check
