The Senior Investment Associate/ V.P. assumes broad responsibilities including fund due diligence, valuation analysis, financial and statistical analysis and presentation development. 2-3 years of private equity, investment banking or comparable experience required. Must be proficient with financial modeling and presentation development.

- Deal Execution  Source and screen new deals through trade press, referrals, and proactively reaching out to GPs.  Participate in/lead first and second meetings with GPs.  Analyze Manager performance and the fund’s investment process and performance; assess fund professionals from both a character, experience and skill set perspective, assess execution and operational capabilities.  Summarize Meetings in PSEA format for use with senior management/clients.  Prepare materials for and manage the Hopper Meeting.  Participate in/lead parts of advanced due diligence including; on-sites with prospective investee funds, portfolio company visits/business executives, and reference calls. Research and Analysis  Research and stay current on pertinent investing topics to private equity, emerging managers, LPs, and market environment.  Own analysis of and continuously improve: o Benchmarking o Portfolio Construction o Asset/Stage Allocation o Diversification  Execute performance analysis/projections of current partnerships and potential investments.  Model ad-hoc decision analysis related to M2 partnerships or induvial GPs. 3. Monitoring  Monitor performance of assigned GPs. Hold bi-monthly and as-needed calls with GPs. Evaluate underlying portfolio companies on a periodic basis.  Attend LPAC calls and annual meetings, summarize notes and action items. Present items at weekly meeting and escalate as appropriate.  Review quarterly/annual financial statements, raise appropriate action items, work with senior investment team and back office to sign-off on quarterly/annual performance.  Own distribution and coordination of annual GP questionnaire.  Lead production of semi-annual portfolio reviews. 4. Client/Sales and Marketing Support  Prepare analytical pieces or ad-hoc client/sales and marketing requests. Assist in creation of RFP/marketing content.  Periodically attend conferences/industry events.  Prepare analysis/presentations on ad-hoc topics for monthly investment meeting with firm President.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
