Your Role

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Supervisor maintains accurate records of inventory. The IS handles all paperwork and procedures necessary to meet this goal. You will also verify all orders received and shipped, ensuring that the orders are accounted for in our records. The Inventory Supervisor accounts for all defective or damaged products and follows with appropriate corrective action. You will ensure cycle counts are planned and implemented following customer and Kuehne+Nagel requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will maintain inventory records to help facilitate shortage detection.
  • You will create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures
  • Perform all daily activities necessary to maintain inventory management
  • Reconcile inventories and coordinate annual physical inventory procedures
  • Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving the management of inventory
  • Build a recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properly
  • You will oversee the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports
  • You will develop a program to audit returns and move returned products to its proper location
  • Process proper documentation to produce a prompt credit transaction.
  • Ensure the accurate preparation of reports regarding Inventory operations.
  • Work with on-site customer representatives to provide a smooth operation and strengthen customer relations.
  • Follow Kuehne + Nagel's Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment Program policies and procedures.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • High School Education or Equivalent
  • Must have two (2) years of supervisory experience and three (3) years of experience within an Inventory Control role.
  • CEIL experience.
  • Knowledge of Red Prairie.
  • Experience in an automated E-Commerce environment is desirable.
