Job description

The position of Inventory Coordinator supports the management of inventory, shipping, receiving, and production administration. The incumbent will pick components from inventory for jobs that are released on a daily basis; perform inventory counts and reconciliation; monitor expiration dates and perform data entry tasks relative to inventory receipt and control. In addition, the Inventory Coordinator will prepare finished goods for shipping and coordinate shipment logistics. The position requires attention to detail, computer skills, and ability to balance quickly evolving priorities.

Responsibilities * Receive daily deliveries, verify, and transact material into MRP software

• Maintain accurate inventory in multiple storage locations including periodic stock room audits
• Package and ship finished goods to customers using multiple carriers and maintain tracking when needed
• Familiarization with export control requirements and special packaging criteria
• File appropriate forms and records related to inventory and shipping transactions

Qualifications

• Strong computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows
• Good organizational skills, accuracy, and detail oriented
• Experience using MRP and PLM software a plus, specifically SAP or Omnify.

Work Experience

• Must have a proven work history as a motivated and energetic contributor in a periodically fast paced role
• Prefer some work history in production or assembly operations.
• Prefer experience with shipping international and domestic shipping, export compliance, inventory and databases

Education

• Require High School Diploma or GED
• Higher Education or technical degree a plus
