Compensation (Pay): $16.00 to $23.20/hourly, based on experience.

Job Summary: Creates and maintains supply par levels for assigned medical and dental locations within and outside of the Colorado Springs area. Orders supplies electronically and stocks clinical and dental storerooms. Physically receives all incoming freight and electronically posts receipt of all items, via the Dynamics accounting software platform, and forwards processed receiving paperwork to Accounts Payable for payment. Assists Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies as required. Regularly prepares requisitioned and special-order items and delivers to other departments and locations. Performs daily follow-up on back ordered supplies. Provides support to Buyers and Supply Chain Manager as required. As a designated back-up to the Courier, performs all associated Courier tasks when required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains supply par levels for assigned medical and dental locations within and outside of the Colorado Springs area. Maintains each supply storage room in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Practices FIFO concept in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Updates Clinical and Dental shopping guides as required.
  • Performs safety checklists of corporate vehicles and identifies required maintenance items.
  • Operates corporate vehicles in a safe and professional manner at all times. Travels inside and outside the Colorado Springs area including locations in the Eastern Plaines.
  • Loads and unloads assets to ensure undamaged transport between locations.
  • Works closely with Buyers and Receiving personnel in meeting stocking requests for all locations.
  • Maintains adequate supplies according to established PAR levels.
  • Maintains electronic order cards within McKesson order platform.
  • Practices proper storage requirements in all storage areas.
  • Performs weekly check of all items with an expiration date, and handles replacement and disposal as required.
  • Checks-in orders received against packing slip and Purchase Order (PO) to validate items received.
  • Maintains and stocks identified core medical and dental supplies for all departments.
  • Creates, changes and receives POs via Dynamics.
  • Places orders through McKesson and Benco ordering platforms.
  • Advises Buyer or Supply Chain Manager of item shortages, substitutes and backorders.
  • Promotes and demonstrates the mission, vision, and Core Values of Peak Vista.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments, the management team, medical staff, and leadership.

Education/Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent education.
Work Experience: One year of materials management and/or supply chain experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic: ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; enter and correct data, modify a workbook, format a worksheet, and use printing functions; create a simple presentation in PowerPoint, run it, and print it.

Certificates and Licenses: Valid Colorado driver's license and proof of insurance. Must meet and maintain driver criteria as prescribed by Peak Vista's insurance underwriter.
