Some of the responsibilities you may own in this role:
- Responsible for ordering all clinical supplies from designated vendors
- Manage minimum and maximum order points based on usage
- Daily receive, unpack, and restock hospital with clinical supplies
- Controlled drug reconciliation and reporting
- Ordering supplies and medications for entire hospital
- Travel to provide back up at various locations across the network as needed
- Manage hospital for all Cubex (Inventory Control System) related issues including maintenance, training and general oversight
Basic required qualifications:
- High school diploma and two years of experience in an accounting/bookkeeping, inventory management, or computer database environment(s).
- Flexibility in availability regarding schedule; able to accommodate various staffing shifts (24/7) for training and be available for off-hour needs including controlled drug updates, shipments, and other unforeseen delays.
- Proficiency in Inventory Control fundamentals and data analysis.
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60-days of hire or transfer into this role.
- Valid California driver’s license with proper vehicle registration and California’s minimum automobile insurance coverage requirement.
