OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for handling the region/zone regulatory process to meet all FDA and State requirements regarding X-Ray installations. Manage all aspects of the integrity of Henry Schein’s inventory within the 3PL locations and local centers; and train TSM’s on proper inventory procedures, assist with inventory audits, identify inventory deficiencies and put corrective action plans into place.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete the entire 2579 regulatory compliance process including, but not limited to following up after x-ray installs; review installation for errors; approve installation; send appropriate information to state and federal authorities. Manage the upload of all regulatory documents into the Veriifi system; and complete monthly effectiveness checks.
  • Oversee inventory in the center by ensuring the 3PL cycle count requirements and inventory management and audit are completed successfully. Schedule counts with ROM and 3PL and ensure completion and reconciliation.
  • Handle the region/zone rental system by taking requests from Equipment Sales Specialists and completing weekly billing.
  • Manage the regional/zone demo inventory pool by taking requests from Equipment Sales Specialists, ensuring that the “demo form” is completed and completing monthly tracking in demo tracker in the NES system.
  • Manage overstock returns to the DCs and vendors.
  • Ship returns to the vendor in partnership with the 3PL partners and SOCs.
  • Track returns to vendor credits to ensure items are returned.
  • Manage the sales operations transactions including handling inbound returns and credit requests for the SOCs to process; investigate commission issues with equipment orders; and approve “ROM pended” credit requests for equipment returns and rental credits with audit compliance.
SKILL:
Excellent understanding of the job and highly proficient in a range of processes or procedures to complete a wide range of tasks. Apply acquired knowledge of procedures and external regulations.
COMPLEXITY:
Work on assignments that can be difficult and require judgment and initiative. Understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions. Will be responsible for making independent procedural decisions.
SUPERVISION:
Work under minimal supervision and may determine methods and procedures on new assignments. May be informal team leader.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 3 or more years of related experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Experience working across various data entry platforms.
  • Must have prior logistics experience with high volume inventory movement
  • Interpersonal skills to work efficiently with others (Vendors, TSM’s, 3PL’s) for detailed documentation follow up.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Typically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meets expectations or consistently exceed expectations.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. This position is field based. If the individual in this role lives within commuting distance to an existing HSD center, the TSM works out of the center. If the individual in this role does not live within commuting distance to an existing HSD center, the TSM telecommutes.
