Mobex Global, formerly Busche Aluminum Technologies, is looking for a 1st shift Inventory Control Specialist. The hours are 6 AM - 2:30 PM. Starting pay for this position is $26, after the 90 day probationary period, it will increase to $27/hr.

Job Summary: Reporting to the MPT & L Manager, the Inventory Control Position is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory at the plant as well as offsite locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform Daily Cycle counts.
• Providing root cause for inventory that does not meet standards.
• Implementation of earn a label, and barcoding throughout the plan.
• Assist all departments with Production reporting as needed.
• Work with all departments on process improvements as it relates to production reporting, and inventory accuracy.
• Analyze PRP/MRD system and problem solve.
• Aid shipping/receiving department regarding customer inquiries.
• Participate on continuous improvement teams assigned by manager.
• Work with all Departments to resolve issues.
• 5s work area.
• Lead year-end activities – inventory and ACCUMS adjustment.
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines for the plant.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong analytical skills, ability to gather, interpret and analyze information.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Experience with MS Office and MRP/ERP system (Plex) and to maintain the system when errors occur.
• Knowledge of quality control systems and standards.
• Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of Inventory Control.
• Ability of prioritize.
• Must be able to write and complete required paperwork.
• Must have basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Education and Experience:

• 3 + years proven experience as Cycle counter, preferably in automotive setting.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Time spent on production floor for completing certain aspects of position thus exposure to seasonally hot and humid conditions, dust, noise and other elements will occur.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with scheduled on-site hours Monday through Friday. Overtime may occur during the work week or weekends and will be based on department needs.
