Job description

We are seeking a motivated Inventory Analyst professional who is excited to work with a global leader in engineered plastics. The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's supply chain and logistics strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity. This role combines analysis and reporting with a hands-on approach to ensure excellence in the performance of supply chain management activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
  • Identify and manage current and future demand requirements with the factory and suppliers.
  • Manage capabilities/capacities to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Implement methods, practices and techniques to ensure the most economical movement of materials through the supply.
  • Manage optimal inventory levels while meeting customer delivery requirements.
  • Analyze data and prepare consolidated managerial reports as needed.
  • Recommend actions to optimize supply chain execution with a special focus on total cost of acquisition.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Operations as needed.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Assist, support, and develop Supply Chain team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with a focus on supply chain management.
  • Minimum 3 years supply chain management experience.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.
  • Understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories.
  • Hands-on experience with logistics, inventory management, and procurement.
  • Purchasing experience is an asset.
