Job Description Summary
As Transamerica launches exciting new Employee Benefits products, we are excited to add an Implementation Project Manager to focus on the initiative!
The Intermediate Implementation Project Manager is responsible for the installation of employee benefit plans, communicating succinctly and working closely with the client and internal resources to ensure a smooth implementation. This important role handles moderate to complex installations in partnership with the sales team, account manager, and account executive.

Responsibilities
  • Primary contact between the broker/enrollment firm and client facilitating all aspects of the implementation process from submission to deliver of the initial bill.
  • Review all case documents for completeness and accuracy, identifying missing or incomplete data working with the broker/enrollment firm to resolve any training issues, outstanding or missing items.
  • Consult with broker/enrollment firm, sales lead, and internal contracting team to obtain any necessary appointments.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external parties throughout the installation process.
  • Negotiate and manage implementation timeline and schedule any meetings necessary for the successful implementation of the business.
  • Consult with Underwriting on any items to include takeover/transition, unique eligibility requirements, and rate structures.
  • Facilitate implementation calls with broker/enrollment firm, client and billing representatives to document and gather case specific information.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to document implementation of sold client.
  • Initiate employer setup on group system and work in conjunction with internal partners to complete group setup in all applicable systems.
  • Manage communications between our internal teams, broker/client and the Electronic Vender Platform to ensure accurate product/enrollment builds and navigate complicated installations
  • Partner with internal teams to conduct compliance, enrollment platform and file feed testing.
  • Provide updates and reports on performance as well as following up with customers and business partners.
  • Responsible for ensuring a smooth transition to the applicable Account Executive and Account Manager for on-going service management.
Qualifications
  • One year of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service/client focused.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Proficiency using MS Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of Employee Benefit Products.

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $58,000-$72,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
