A local Sign Manufacturing company seeking and Interior Designer.

Interior Designer

Job Summary * Plans, designs and furnishes interiors of retail, commercial or industrial spaces.

General Accountabilities

• Coordinates and meets with other professionals regarding the interior environment(s).

• Meets with client to determine interior environments, architectural preferences, purpose and function of the design.

• Advises client on interior layouts and designs. * Reviews and details drawings for fabrication and or construction plans.

• Selects, designs and/or purchases items for the interior environment(s). * Acquires material, estimates costs, and creates Purchase Orders.

• Coordinates crews, materials, finish products, and rentals, creates Work Orders for jobs.

• Coordinate with production and respective coordinators via Trello to finalize specifications for finished product.

• Use computer software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch Up.

• Material specifications Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree * Experience: 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
