Rockhurst University is seeking an Integration Manager for their Information Technology team.

The Integration Manager is responsible for developing and implementing integrations between a diverse environment of systems for the University. Provides technical leadership for developing and maintaining such integrations.
Responsible for developing automated processes to streamline or reduce manual tasks and enforcement of integration/automation best practices. Contributes to departmental decisions regarding policies, procedures, security, data integrity and technologies university-wide.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Develop and enforce integration best practices.
  • Develop, implement and document data integration solutions to support university applications.
  • Develop, implement and document automated processes to streamline or reduce repetitive manual tasks.
  • Ensure data integrity though all developed integration processes and provide automated reporting of data issues when found
  • Collect business requirements to develop and support systems integrations between university business applications.
  • Evaluate information flows and integrations to ensure optimal configuration.
  • Responsible for providing technical leadership to all projects within the assigned group.
  • Provides recommendations and assists in the final determination of which technologies to use on new projects.
  • Works with other groups within the Information Technology department to ensure the solutions are consistent with Computer Services policies.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge

  • Strong experience in architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise applications and systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments to formulate integration strategies and roadmaps.
  • Ability to work with all management levels and influence enterprise technology decisions
  • Maintains technology fluency in order to recommend and design integration solutions.
  • Systems thinking: the ability to see how parts interact with the whole.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand.
  • Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
  • Self-directed, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or High School diploma and equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of related experience with an emphasis on systems administration, systems integration, data quality, systems governance, and related technologies.
  • Solid technical background with familiarity or hands-on experience in application development and/or integration with vendor products.
  • Proven experience coordinating complex projects, processes and team members in the higher education information technology sector.
