Summary of Position:

Participates in Intake Evaluation, completes required screening tools to determine diagnosis and appropriate therapist match and clinical approach. Attends Case Conferences, training, and supervision sessions as required.

Essential Position Responsibilities: (Other duties as assigned)

  • Present consistently a healthy role model for persons served
  • Conduct Intake Evaluations, complete required assessment tools

Document sessions through the use of DAP format progress notes in electronic health record

  • Maintain and update client demographic information in EHR.
  • Create/update Treatment Plans in collaboration with individual and individuals family, in accordance with State and payer standards.
  • Maintain and keep current all required consent forms (e.g. - Consent to Treatment, etc.)
  • Participate in Case Conferences, EBP training and Supervision Sessions as required
  • Follow Discharge/Transfer process and complete all required paperwork to facilitate/complete process
  • Maintain records according to mandated State Regulations.
  • Participate in Group Training, and EBP training as required by payor and regulatory standards and best practices
  • Cover assigned cases for Emergencies and Crisis Intervention and participate in on-call rotation for clinic.
  • Back-up other therapists for Emergencies and Crisis Intervention, when needed.
  • Attend mandatory training as required by payor and regulatory standards and best practices
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the scheduling needs of the persons served.
  • Masters Degree in Family Therapy, Counseling or in a related field from an accredited University.
  • Must be stable and mature, with 2 years verified work experience in Behavioral Health or related fields.
  • Must enjoy working with children and adolescents and designated families.
  • Must demonstrate a genuine fondness and respect for children and adolescents.
  • Must be sensitive to the problems of children and adolescents particularly as those problems relate to the family structure.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Adult and Pediatric CPR Certification Required
  • PA Child Abuse Clearance required
  • PA Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training Required
  • FBI Clearance required
  • PA Criminal Clearance required
  • Health Assessment required
  • TB Test required
