Responsibilities
Responsible for the quality and efficiency of a team of insurance certificate verification specialists- Recruit, hire, and onboard insurance verification specialists
- Conduct ongoing training for insurance verification specialists
- Create and maintain training and user guide articles on processes and procedures
- Work closely with product and engineering team to improve the insurance verification software and identify opportunities for new features
- Create Sample COIs for clients based off of their contractual insurance requirements
- Translate insurance requirements into product offerings and recognize gaps
- Work with a strong sense of urgency to meet and exceed daily customer and internal escalation inquires
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships with different departments within the company (we are a team!)
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors (actions speak louder than words)
- Be a driving force for product enhancements and efficentices
If you have the following you might be a good fit!
2+ years of experience within Commercial Insurance lines of coverage (U.S. commercial lines are a must, any international experience is a plus)- Strong understanding on how to read and interpret Certificates of Insurance
- Experience training and coaching a team of operational specialists to be the best and do their best
- Experience working with customers to understand their needs or help address questions or issues
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
- Open to feedback
- Positive attitude
- Have a can-do attitude even when you may not know the answer but you will figure it out
- Mutli-tasker extraordinaire
- Open to change on a regular basis (every day is different!)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Not afraid to ask questions
- Skilled at organizing and prioritizing tasks
