The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center for Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas. - Base hourly rate of $15.66 to $19.24 per hour; based on previous relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Post medical insurance and client co-payments Electronic Medical Record System
- Process denials from medical insurance claims
- Review patient accounts for outstanding balances from clients and/or insurance companies
- Electronically invoice and submit claims for medical service to Medicaid, Medicare and other third-party payers on a biweekly basis.
- Seek and track treatment authorizations
Qualifications
- High school education required; some college education preferred in the field of accounting
- Looking for a self-motivated applicant that can work efficiently and accurately to successfully meet job requirements
- Covid 19 vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption is required
