Since 1993, Newtown Termite & Pest Control, Inc. has been protecting homes and businesses throughout Newtown, PA, from Routes 413, 532, and 332, from Stoopville Road to the Newtown Bypass, and all points in between from all types of pests.

Newtown Termite & Pest Control is a notch above the rest. Combined, our certified technicians have over 50 years of experience doing battle with all sorts of flying, crawling, and burrowing pests. We are a local family-owned and managed exterminator, offering a full range of services, including ant control, bed bug control, bee control, rodent control, spider control, and termite control.

Pay

• $35,000- $50,000 depending on the experience + overtime

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the attic restoration and blow-in Tap Insulation. The essential duties and responsibilities of an Insulation Technician include:

• Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems.
• Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed to fulfill job requirements.
• Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines.
• Loads and unloads insulation materials.
• Installs or sprays insulation in attics.
• Measures and cuts insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes.
• Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as needed.
• Transports needed tools and equipment to job sites.
• Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Able to sit, stand, squat, travel up and down stairs, climb a ladder, and get into crawl spaces and attics
• Can tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather and damp/or dusty locations
• Hard working, dependable, and has the desire to excel and learn
• Valid Drivers license and a clean driving record
• Able to pass a background check
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
