We are looking for an experienced Foreman to lead our Metal Mechanics and Journeyman Insulators team. The ideal candidate will have a background in metal mechanics and insulation, proven leadership skills, and strong paperwork/reporting skills, including reading ISOs. The successful candidate will manage and supervise the team, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the Metal Mechanics and Journeyman Insulators team, ensuring that they are working efficiently and safely.
• Assign tasks and duties to team members, monitor their progress, and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
• Identify basic insulation needs for repairs or replacement and communicate those needs to team members.
• Read and interpret ISOs to ensure that all work is being performed in compliance with customer specifications and requirements.
• Work with the Project Manager to develop project schedules, ensure that deadlines are met, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Manage and maintain all necessary paperwork, including safety records, work orders, and project documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members, Project Managers, and customers to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal mechanics and insulation.
• Journeyman certification in insulation and/or sheet metal or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage a team of metal mechanics and insulators.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret ISOs and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, Project Managers, and customers.
• Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, at heights, and in extreme temperatures.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and the ability to ensure compliance.
• Authorized to work in the United States
