AirPhoton is a small company located at the UMBC bwtech business incubator near Arbutus just outside of Baltimore. We design, manufacture and sell high quality instruments for measuring air pollution as well as satellite payloads. We are seeking an individual with skills in mechanical and electrical assembly to assist in the assembly and repair of our equipment. We will also consider applicants with experience in just one of these areas. Knowledge of optics and lenses is considered a great plus but is not necessary.

Desired Skills: Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the assembly process, reading of engineering prints and schematics, and written and visual instructions. Technical knowledge of equipment and tools. Requires ability to work in an efficient manner while paying attention to detail. Applicant will be required to assemble equipment and follow procedures for testing, documentation and quality assurance.
