The School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering (
MIME
) invites applications for part-time (varied
FTE
), 9-month, fixed term Instructor positions. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Head of School.
Instructors may be needed to teach courses in the following areas: computer-aided design, mechanics, design, dynamics, controls, mechatronics, thermal fluid sciences, materials science, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering and aerospace engineering.

100% Teaching and Instruction
- Instructors may be needed to teach courses in undergraduate and graduate areas.
- May also be responsible for coordination of or instruction in laboratory settings.
M.S. or M.A. in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
Teaching experience.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Preferred (Special) Qualifications
Teaching experience.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ph.D. in subject/field of instruction.
Teaching experience at the college or university level.
Experience with remote teaching.
Experience with course management tools such as Canvas.
Experience teaching engineering software programs such as MATLAB, SolidWorks, NX, and OnShape.
