General Description / Primary Purpose
The University of North Florida, Department of Health Administration invites applications for a 9-month Instructor Position in the Health Administration Program to start Spring 2023.

Essential Duties
Job Function
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching in the undergraduate and graduate health administration programs
- Teaching experience in leadership, quality management, finance/accounting, human resources, or health informatics is preferred.
- Participating in the academic life of the school (e.g., attending faculty meetings, participating in curriculum review/development, assessment of student learning, etc.) as well as serving on various committees as appropriate for an instructor in the school.
- External service expectations include working with appropriate academic disciplinary bodies and professional organizations.
- Serve as the director of the Health Administration Leadership Institute (HALI) at the departmental and college level.
- Serve as the faculty advisor for Health Administration Student Association (HASA).
- Facilitate community development and partnership.

Faculty Position Required Qualifications
A master’s degree in Health Administration, Health Services, or closely related health or business field or discipline, from an accredited institution, conferred no later than January 2023 is required. Healthcare executive experience is required. Candidates must possess a proven record of excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching and commitment to program service.
A pre-employment background check is performed on candidates selected for employment.
