The Upward Bound School (TUBS) is a 501(c)(3) and is a certified Non Public Agency that partners with schools in order to offer a range of related special education services provided by California Credential or Licensed Professionals.

TUBS contracts with both brick and mortar and independent study programs that offer services at the school site or at alternative public location site.

Due to the nature of our services TUBS would not be able to guarantee hours upon hire but typically once hours are assigned, providers continue those services throughout the school year.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with student(s) and teacher(s)
• Providing intervention strategies, supports and services in a classroom environment
• Keep and maintain thorough, accurate records and documents for each session
• Monitoring, tracking progress and providing support on IEP goal(s) academic or behavior
• Being able to give input in a concise and timely manner
• Having excellent organizational skills
• Submit hours serviced for each student the same day
• Communicate with IEP team frequently
• Provide input on present levels of performance for IEPs

This specific position is part-time, M-F, 5.5 hours a day, with mileage reimbursement

Required Qualifications:

1. Current Associates Degree (AA) (required)

-BA or BS preferred in an education or a related field. (preferred)

2. Current TB test within the three years

3. Current Proof of COVID Vaccine

4. Will need a clear background check/livescan with the DOJ and FBI

5. Automobile Liability Insurance

6. Reliable transportation

7. California Driver's License

8. At least 2 years of experience providing instructional aide or behavior support services

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
