Instructional Aide are needed for our Service Centers located in Jesup, Lyons, Glennville and Statesboro.
The Instructional Aide assists with Community Access Group Services, Pre-vocational Services and Respite Services. The Instructional Aide observes and monitors individual’s behavior and charts observations and incidents. Aide provide training to adults with an intellectual developmental disability and/or co-occurring mental health and/or substance use disorders. This training includes direct and/or hands-on of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to individuals in a Day Program environment. Instructional Aides assist with providing transportation, and/or limited case management.

Instructional Aides must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, Valid State of Georgia Driver’s License, an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report, a clean Criminal History, a negative drug screening and must be at least 21 years of age. Preferred qualifications are one year experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals in a human service setting OR an Associate degree in a related field OR one year experience at the lower level or position equivalent

Pay: $1,424.00 - $1,425.00 per month
