Installation Project Specialist: We are looking for an Installation Project Specialist to contribute towards first-class installation of Getinge equipment while delivering a great customer experience. You will have the opportunity to make a difference by providing our customer the optimal work environment while improving patient safety. As the Installation Project Specialist, you will be directly responsible for managing equipment installation projects. You will lead a group of installation contractors while supporting our sales consultants and Project Managers and connecting with the client’s facilities and construction personnel.
Territory Includes: The position will be in the Southeast United States and will primarily cover Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Identify and define staffing and schedule for installation sites.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained throughout projects by practicing good communication among stakeholders as well as proper expectations management.
- Support and collaborate with Project Managers, Sales, and local Service.
- Maintain profitability by managing scope of work and labor costs.
- Understand technical principles of washers and sterilizers and act as subject matter expert to Project Management team and Sales.
- Other responsibilities include training installation contractors and cost quoting installations.

Your experience includes:
- Associates Degree in a technical discipline; or equivalent military training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years’ experience in service troubleshooting, repair, and interpreting schematics, installation, and construction drawings.
- Preferably 2 years’ experience in an elevated field service position.
- Experience with installations is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software is highly desired
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Infection Control processing desired.
- Solid understanding of FDA regulations, application of business concepts, quality procedures and practices.
- Ability to lift to 75lbs.
To help meet our goals of becoming CO2 neutral by 2025, we travel only if we must. In this role, you will be required to travel up to 75%. Where practical and agreed upon with clients, the candidate is encouraged to leverage technology to help with remote communication and minimize unnecessary travel. The project manager is expected to be present during pre-installation activities through customer go-live for which they will travel domestically.
