Position Objective: This position is responsible for answering calls from customers, entering orders in the system accurately, recommending additional products to increase sales, supporting foodservice sales and Territory Business Developers with account management responsibilities, and assisting customers in resolving issues.

This position is also responsible for:

• Managing and developing strong rapport with all customers
• Assisting with all calls to the CSP call center
• Entering and monitoring orders through data entry systems
• Providing accurate and detailed service in order to reduce error rate
• Documenting and reporting customer feedback to improve the customer experience
• Managing and updating customer databases with notes for each customer
• Converting customers to new ordering platforms and technology
• Supporting all foodservice customer engagement and service
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of Inside Sales experience, preferably in the food/beverage industry for Level I
• High School Diploma (or GED)

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Ability to read, write and speak English to process paperwork and data accurately; converse with others to accomplish business
• Ability to use a computer to process email, input information, etc.
• Able to hear and speak clearly to communicate with customers
• Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) a plus

Must be:

• At least 18 years of age
• Able to successfully pass a criminal background check
• Available to work 40 – 50 hours per week including evenings, weekends and holidays
