Overview:The candidate’s primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support for QuadGen's information network infrastructure and ensure the stability and security. This includes but is not limited to end user administration, support and training; operating system, and server environment maintenance and upgrades; network hardware and software support; and security, protection, and recovery of information technology assets. Performs all related information technology duties as required or assigned.
Key Job Functions
Work in partnership with IT managers and team members to identify tools and resources needed to perform jobs that adhere to licensing requirements and agreements. Collaborate with team members on projects to identify, evaluate, and support IT Infrastructure tasks as needed to meet company goals.
Work in partnership with IT manager and team to support the hardware and software life cycles including the upgrading of firmware, hardware and software.
Monitor resources and resolve hardware, software, network, and end user issues; VOIP phone system operation and maintenance while ensuring IT tickets are resolved properly.
Provide end user application and hardware support and training; assist in training new employees as directed and supervised by management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advances to optimize network infrastructure and communicate effectiveness of emerging technologies to decision makers.
