Job description
The Infant Room Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate program for children 6 weeks through 12 months of age in three infant rooms. The Infant Room Coordinator works with the entire teaching team to implement consistent policies and procedures that protect and enhance the health and safety of the children. The Coordinator is responsible for fostering professionalism throughout the three infant rooms as well as the entire Learning Center.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Child Development Associate Certificate or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or degree from an Accredited College with related coursework.
Experience: Experience as an infant lead teacher in a childcare center. Experience in an accredited child care center preferred.
Licensure/Certification: DSS regulations requires that CPR and First Aid certification by the National Safety Council be successfully completed within 90 days of employment.

Knowledge/Skills: Communicates effectively with infants, children and adults and has strong oral and written skills.
Other: Requires a mature individual who can work independently.
Contacts: Constant interaction with employees, parents and general public. Ongoing contact with other early childhood professionals and students.
