JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

PAY RATE: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Perform overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools and machinery for the company.

Conduct troubleshooting and preventive maintenance services on all plant equipment and assist with facility maintenance.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of equipment, tools and machinery.

Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.

Follow diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, manufacturers instructions, and engineering specifications to perform required maintenance and service.

Locate sources of problems by observing machinery in operation, listening for problems and using precision measuring and testing instruments.

Perform and document inspections.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent

3 or more years experience in repair and maintenance at a CNC machine shop (this is a necessity)

Strong attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while also being able to work as a team player

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects

Job Type: Full-time
