Seasonal Opening!
Industrial Cleaning Operators at US Ecology are responsible for assisting in the operation of Vacuum Trucks and Tankers. Cleaning Tanks using pressure washers. Loading and unloading trailers. Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Day in the Life
After grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:
- Attend the morning safety meeting
- Get a briefing from your manager on the day’s activities
- Suit up with the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the day and/or task
- Work within the shop preparing customer orders, get equipment and supplies together for upcoming projects
- Use heavy duty cleaning equipment to remove products from customer storage containers
- Operate equipment such as vacuum trucks, tractor trailers, vans, and box trucks to assist other departments
- Maintain documentation of manifests and work orders
- Assist with cleanup of spills
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you need to apply
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Comfort wearing a respirator as needed (Clean shaven/mustache facial hair acceptable)
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
