Job Purpose and Impact

The Indirect Procurement Specialist will apply deep knowledge of procure-to-pay policies, processes, and systems to facilitate purchases of materials, services and supplies. In this role, you will conduct activities focused on communicating policies and processes to stakeholders, training stakeholders regarding processes and systems, supporting vendor enablement, and partnering with Cargill Business Services and vendors in resolving invoice and payment issues. Along with, establishing long relationships and participating/leading cost savings initiatives. Key Accountabilities

Assist more senior team members with process improvements.
Check records and files for accuracy, performing complex analysis of data.
Lead requests for procurement of non-contracted materials and goods, services and supplies.
Assist end user and ensure material delivery follow plant requirements.
Delivering cost reduction through spend management.
Supporting governance around procure-to-pay processes.
Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent.
Minimum of four years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Advanced skills using relevant office programs and applications.
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning application experience.
Experience working in shared service operations. Position Information

Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
This is a remote job in the US only.
The work schedule is: Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
