Job description
The Spectrum Inbound Sales Representative is an inside sales position that requires the evaluation and discussion of the features and benefits of our products and services to upgrade new, existing, and former customers. This role will focus on establishing rapport and building value on the appropriate solution by educating our customers. Ensure customers get the best value by selling multiple customer service options, including but not limited to cable, internet, home phone and mobile.
Pay & Benefits
- Average target compensation $60k plus, top performers can earn $74k plus, with a guaranteed commission of $4500 during the first 6 month on the job (including during training). Inbound Sales Agents earn an hourly base pay starting at $20.00 p/hr (+ $1.15 p/hr for Shift Diff pay depending on scheduled start time) plus commission.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One year of sales experience preferably selling Voice, Data, and Video solutions or six months internal experience as a Billing agent with demonstrated success at meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Ability to apply appropriate sales techniques and demonstrate sustained achievement of stated sales goals
- Ability to conduct a needs analysis (consultative approach), overcome objections, develop a strong sales pitch and effectively close sales
- Ability to show proper judgement and initiative
- Strong working knowledge of cable communications products and services to include video (TV), data (internet), voice (telephone) and mobile
- Familiarity with billing systems
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Problem solver, likes challenges, goal oriented, ambitious, determined and self-confident
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to communicate in a clear, professional manner
- Multitask effectively
Education
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Related Work Experience
- Customer service / call center - 1 year experience
- 1 year sales experience (or 3 months demonstrated sales success in a Spectrum position)
- * 6 months or more heavy volume phone experience in a customer service/call center job is a plus
