Job description
As marketing manager for the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, you will lead the execution of marketing initiatives that have the most direct impact on business outcomes. Your primary responsibility is to craft, execute, and optimize our demand generation programs for your assigned region. You will work closely with regional leadership to organize campaigns and ensure a consistent stream of qualified leads.
To be successful, you need an in-depth understanding of the technical landscape of generating and nurturing leads through sophisticated, multi-touch campaigns. You must also live and breathe demand generation tactics that lay the groundwork for profitable relationships with our mid-market and enterprise clients. In addition, candidates should possess a high degree of comfort working with stakeholders and complementary resources across a wide range of internal departments.
As an industry-leader in the SaaS space, our organization targets a range of key communications and marketing personas that live at the upper echelons of organizational structures with a focus on marketing agencies, B2B companies, and e-commerce organizations. Our ideal candidate will be well-attuned to the language and culture of the marketing and communications crowd, and well-versed in the marketing technology landscape.
Every campaign, including the execution of virtual and live events, is designed to support our strategic business objectives and consistently generate results. Thus, a strong analytical ability and a love of numbers will aid you in leveraging existing internal data to identify the market segments that produce the best possible results. Moreover, campaigns will need to beconsistent with existing branding, thought leadership, and content marketing efforts. Experience in scale-up organizations is a big plus!
Responsibilities:
- Execute tactics and programs that produce leads, generate pipeline, and accelerate conversions.
- Actively assess opportunities to participate in virtual and live events relevant to target personas.
- Manage virtual and live event logistics to ensure smooth execution and predictable performance.
- Leverage multiple content channels (email, direct mail, webinars, eBooks, whitepapers, etc.) in your campaign strategies.
- Coordinate effectively with revenue operations to ensure proper management of the prospect database, including compiling lists, purging and segmenting contacts, and proactively organizing data with future campaigns in mind.
- Coordinate effectively with project management to establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead engagement.
- Analyze and act on marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
- Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
Requirements:
- BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear understanding of the Forresters Demand Waterfall (SiriusDecisions), and the role of sales and marketing within the funnel.
- Strong analytical skills (including being a master of Microsoft Excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis.
- Proficiency in marketing automation systems (like HubSpot) and integrating those systems with other technologies.
- Drive to share knowledge, create new solutions and bring new ideas to the table.
