Position: Implementation Specialist
Medicom is seeking an implementation specialist to support our customers through the implementation and installation process of our services.
Responsibilities
Provides implementation/project management assistance system installation and upgrades.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and basic knowledge of the DICOM and HL7 standards.
Demonstrated analytical skills.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Provide training and support for healthcare imaging workflows.
Must be able to learn technology quickly, with a focus on accuracy
Demonstrated self-directed and proactive approach to problem-resolution skills, with the ability to work collaboratively to quickly identify complex problems, and develop, test, and implement appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
Ability to address problems that are highly varied, complex, and often non-recurring, requiring staff input, innovative, creative, and Lean diagnostic techniques to resolve issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge application related to complex system operations, documentation, and reporting, with the ability to assess system inadequacies.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience working as a PACS Administrator.
5+ years of experience building HL7 interfaces for radiology workflows.
Basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP).
Must have knowledge and skill of utilizing critical thinking technique in resolving issues.
Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare standards.
Strong written oral communication skills.
Experience working directly with end users and clients.
Positive and courteous during customer interactions.
Excellent project management skills.
