Requirements

• Understands all rules and regulations of local and state agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
• Previous experience teaching and/or working with young children is preferred Physical Requirements:

Physical Requirements

• Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting at least 35 pounds

Responsibilities/Skills

• Interact and supervise children; the ability to meet infant’s individual needs in a group setting
• Evaluate individual developmental progress of infants
• Ability to connect with co-workers, parents and infants in a positive and respectful manner
• Maintain professional personal appearance, professional attitude and work conduct
• Adhere to health/safety and sanitation procedures for diapering
• Comfortable teaching immersive curriculum and implementing emergent programming in a private preschool setting
• Follow and implement classroom daily schedules, learning plans, and individual infant’s schedule
• Ability to maintain a warm and nurturing environment
• Excellent organizational skills and time management

Upon Employment

• Valid driver’s license
• Obtain Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid with Rescue Breathing and Choking
• Obtain a Background Check and Fingerprint-based Background Check
• Food Handlers Certification (if applicable)

• High School Diploma; or High School Equivalent
