Job Overview::
Supports various Information Security application technologies including user provisioning, user awareness education, compliance, audit and legal administrative support including all systems relevant to the Information Security program. Participates in assigned tasks as it relates to identity access related activities and remediation efforts. Assists more senior security specialists in supporting current and incoming systems. Completes routine tasks related to projects and technical requests. Provides basic support in all areas of the departments tasks and initiatives. Typically, self-directed once assigned work and functions with moderate independence.

Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job
- Participates and engages in team meetings, team building activities, and other opportunities to strengthen the department.
- Executes IAM project-related tasks.
- Uses routine troubleshooting methodologies that provide efficient, effective resolution and minimize impact to the customer.
- Actively maintains education and cross-training on all IAM areas of expertise. Attends training when available and appropriate.
- Participates in role-based user provisioning activities, processes and standards for system-wide applications.
- Participates in the orientation of new team members.
- Participates in routine work requests, ITS initiatives or minor projects. Maintains detailed and accurate records in workload management, asset management and administrative applications. Accurately follows documentation and checklists to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Other Functions
- Supports security awareness initiatives.
- Supports and promotes the mission and values of SEARHC.

Qualifications::
Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
- High school diploma/GED or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience Required
- 1 year of relevant experience in an Information Security related role preferred.
Knowledge of
- Supporting front-end and back-end application systems and associated troubleshooting techniques
- Healthcare security and compliance regulations
- Security terms and healthcare related privacy regulations
- Implementing new security systems into an existing environment
Skills in
- Oral and written communication
Ability to
- Interact effectively with clinicians, information systems resources, peers, and management staff from hospitals, other Member Organizations, and vendors in a manner that represents SEARHC positively
- Communicate in a professional, positive, and timely manner in person, on the phone, and via electronic means
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Travel Required
- Must be able to travel 10% of the time
- Travel may be via jet, ferry, or small aircraft

- Employees are responsible for complying with safe work rules, reporting all accidents and injuries immediately, cooperating in all accident and injury investigations, and reporting defective equipment and unsafe conditions
