Job description
We are seeking to employ an energetic and highly motivated Dental Hygienist for a busy well-established Dental Practice for three days a week. The Dental Hygienist will provide direct patient care to adult and child patients. The Hygienist will perform oral hygiene and periodontal assessments as well as give oral health education.Essential Functions
Prepare treatment rooms for patient
Reviews Medical history and perform intraoral and extraoral exams
Prepares dental record of oral condition for interpretation by dentist
Teaches dental health education for all patients
Adheres to strict infection control guideline
Manages time to ensure efficient patient flow.
Performs other assigned duties commensurate with current Dental laws of the State of North Carolina
Requirements
Attention to detail
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
Degree from Accredited Dental Hygiene School
Valid license to practice in North Carolina
Current CPR
