Hybrid Azure Administrator – 6 month contract
Insight Enterprises is seeking an Azure Administrator to support our client in Rock Hill, SC with the administration, support, and maintenance of their current environment.
This opportunity is a 6 month contract that has the possibility of extending and/or converting to a long term. Our client would like this person to be able to work onsite at their Rock Hill, SC location 2 days a week.
Responsibilities:
The overall objectives of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Azure Administration and support.
Qualifications/Candidate must have:
- 3 years of Azure experience.
- Good experience with Azure, including VM’s, provisioning PaaS resources, AD & synchronization services, scripting & automation, etc.
- Good knowledge and experience with Windows Server Operating systems and containers, including administration, patching, build, troubleshooting, etc.
- Good knowledge and experience with Active Directory.
- Ability to provide afterhours support for escalations as necessary.
- Good understanding of and ability to follow the change management process and best practices.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills, both oral & written.
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Good understanding and experience in a hybrid environment (on-premise & cloud) are a plus.
