HR Operations Specialist
The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for Time and Attendance Tier 3 responsibilities, including trouble shooting system set up issues, system usage support for colleagues on issues, troubleshooting systems issues in conjunction with the vendor, Leaves time and pay processing, and partnering with ADP or internal resources to resolve issues quickly and accurately. This role is responsible for having the technical knowledge to work closely with ADP for eTime configuration, table maintenance, and coordinating updates with the vendor.
Position Responsibilities
HR Operations Systems Daily Processing
  • Manage the day to day processing and support for: Time Connect and Leaves/Total Absence Management which includes following but not limited to:
    • Perform daily operational functions troubleshooting, and collaborating with time & attendance partners to resolve issues.
    • Partner with HRIS team members to ensure the proper inbound and outbound data transfers are executed consistently and free of errors.
    • Educate the HR Community and Comerica Colleagues about internal tools and dashboards available in Time Connect eTime and ADP Mobile.
    • In coordination with Comerica Payroll processing, execute all pay period close processes.
HR Operations Systems Maintenance
  • Completes maintenance on system tables, including changes, adds, deletes, etc. for all tables and forms.
  • Executes test scripts in the test environment for implementation into production.
    Identify and escalate interface issues to the HRIS team.
Support, Analytics, Process Documentation & Reporting
  • Act as an escalation point for ADP Call Center regarding questions for Time and Attendance tools.
  • Responds to problem tickets, requests and pages within designated time frames.
  • Updates and maintains department procedures, security lists, and audit documentation.
  • Compile and analyze metrics for Time and Attendance such as PTO utilization, overtime reporting, and other metrics as required.
  • Produces reports for accurate leaves processing.
  • Develops and maintains custom queries as well as the Document Libraries with latest versions including the maintenance of How To guides used by managers and employees on how to use systems such as (Time Connect eTime, HR Connect).
Risk Management/Compliance
  • Bi-weekly Audits Time and Attendance.
  • Verify hours worked, time adjustments, accruals and previous information entered in the time and attendance system.
  • Approve and release time in the time system.
  • System Compliance and Audits.
  • Analyzes and makes recommendations on operational policy and procedures.
  • Develop and document the overall workflow processes for the systems in partnership with the HR Operations Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, Comerica's HR policies and procedures, and HR audit standards, and complete all system disaster recovery exercises.


Qualifications

  • Highschool/GED or 3 years of work experience in systems support
  • 3 years of experience with Microsoft applications and utilizing various software and systems including Excel spreadsheets and or Microsoft reporting services
  • 1 year of experience in training employees on technical tools
Comerica Bank Tower
8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position offers a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote days as determined by the manager.
