Motif Seattle, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel, is a chic, upscale boutique hotel in downtown Seattle. The architecture and design is heavily inspired by the city’s burgeoning fashion, music and art scenes. We have 319 guest rooms and over 22,000 square feet of meeting conference space. In addition, we are the home to award winning rooftop restaurant and bar, Frolik Kitchen+Cocktails.

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team!

The Human Resources Manager assists in executing HR initiatives to include payroll and benefits administration, workers compensation claims, safety awareness & compliance, learning & development, data entry, and data analytics. This role will also manage the candidate experience by assisting with workforce planning, recruiting efforts, staffing, facilitating interviews, selection process, and hiring/onboarding new colleagues.

This position will report to the Director of Human Resources, and must have the ability to run a human resource office in the Director's absence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Familiar with payroll systems and HR information systems (Taleo, ADP, and Kronos a plus)
• Strong attention to detail, organization and analytical skills
• Strong problem-solving and creative/critical thinking skills
• Working knowledge of HR policies and laws, and familiarity with the latest HR trends
• Interpersonal skills and genuine customer service orientation. Must have a positive demeanor with energy, drive, and persistence to achieve goals
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Solid professional presentation skills and ability to deliver messages clearly and effectively
