Reico Kitchen & Bath is a 72-year-old, privately held retailer and wholesaler of kitchens & baths. Headquartered in Springfield, VA we have over 250 team members at 24 locations in the Mid-Atlantic. Reico represents nationally recognized brands and services to a varied customer base of builders, property management contractors and consumers.
We are searching for a Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team. The position is an active member and supervisor of a small department that is responsible for the following functional areas:
STAFFING MANAGEMENT
- Manage and conduct recruitment efforts for all personnel including interacting with managers, ad postings,background checks, screening, applicant tracking and communication
- Onboarding
- Work with managers on performance management and issue resolution
- Develop and improve HR team competencies
- Maintain Employee Handbook
BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
- Administer benefits including open enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees
- Manage benefit audits
- Work closely with Reico's benefits broker and outside vendors.
PAYROLL MANAGEMENT
- Oversee payroll administration
- Ensure accuracy of pay, deductions, etc.
COMPLIANCE
- Help create and interpret organizational policies, procedures, and guideline to ensure compliance with government laws and regulations
- Maintain records and related data to ensure compliance
- Prepare necessary reports, forms and other paperwork
- EEOC, Worker's Comp, OSHA, ADA, DOT
OTHER OBJECTIVES
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems
- Support internal communications to ensure coordination of consistent and accurate messaging
- Perpetuate Reico's culture
Requirments & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years relevant HR management experience
- BS degree
- SHRM certification preferred
- Experience in the administration of benefits, compensation and other HR programs
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Self-motiviated with ability to meet deadlines independently and as a part of a team.
- Desire to continue learning and improving skill sets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgement and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be enthusiastic, friendly and team focused
- Knowledge of Paycom systems a plus
