Job description
NOTE: In order to work at a casino in the state of PA, you will be required to apply for and obtain a valid PA Gaming License. Candidates who accept an offer of employment will meet with the Human Resources team who will guide them through the licensing process.
- Responsible for the performance of the benefits, compensation, employee wellness, risk programs/Workers Compensation, LOA, and uniform shop
- Investigate and evaluate team member concerns/complaints to determine liability and course of action
- Ability to authorize and issue complimentary services to patrons
- Develop training as necessitated to provide ongoing development opportunities and to remain in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and with company and industry requirements
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate departmental training materials in conjunction with the department management team
- Reviews and responds to all unemployment claims and attends hearings
- Audits quarterly statements and approves changes
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities
Experience
Required- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related fields, or five to seven years equivalent work experience in Human Resources.
- PHR certification preferred, but not required
Education
Required- High School or better
